A GERMAN BONE MINIATURE CHESS SET AND FOLDING BOARD
LATE 19TH CENTURY
The kings and queens with multi-knopped and baluster shafts, together with an associated box with demarcations for chess to the exterior and reeded edge
The king -- 1 7/8 in. (4.8 cm.) high; the pawn -- 3/4 in. (2 cm.) high; the board -- 4¾ x 4 5/8 in. (12 x 11.7 cm.)
Together with a folding printed paper combined pocket chess and draughts game, by De La Rue & Co., circa 1900, lacking two pawns -- 5.7 8 in. (15 cm.) high; and a miniature folding inlaid walnut and sycamore chess set and box, late 20th century -- 3 in. (7.5 cm.) diameter
