Pear-shaped with engraved scalloped foot mount, silver mid-rib, scroll handle and hinged domed cover engraved with coat-of-arms within mantling and initials, with pomegranate thumbpiece

The coat-of-arms are those of the Danish family Lange quartering Giedde-Basse-Urne, which relate to the marriage of a member of Lange family (NL) to a member of Giedde family (MG) in 1648.
