A German tapering octagonal beaker on a squat cylindrical stem chased with shells and on a gadrooned spreading foot, the body chased with stylised shells and dots, the underside of the foot engraved with an armorial with date 1609 beneath, probably Nuremburg - 3½in., 4oz.
