beetle form case with gem set eyes and rose diamond set head and wings, the wings overlaid with multi-coloured spotted enamel and released by depressing the button at the rear, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, oval frosted gilt movement with wolf's tooth winding and cylinder escapement, the lower cover realistically modelled as the beetle's underside, cast and chased gold pendant with red and white enamel decoration and set with rose diamonds and a single Ceylon sapphire, watch 53mm, pendant 80mm.
