ENGLISH, MID NINETEENTH CENTURY
the handle formed from four scrollwork struts, the part fluted base with a floral and foliate frieze, the bloodstone matrix with carved coat of arms
The arms are those of Stysted of Kisgrave and Ipswich, Co. Suffolk impaling another, probably MacSwynie.
and a gold fob seal with simple scroll handle, the cornelian matrix with carved male bust study -- 3.3cms.
