The movement with knopped pillars, pierced and engraved backplate furniture and cock now set with jewel, steel cylinder and escape wheel, repeating on bell by depressing pendant, signed gilt dust cap, unusual signed white enamel dial with arabic chapters, pierced gold scroll hands within numbered gold pair cases, maker mark SG, fish above, probably for Stephen Goujon, the inner case band, pierced and engraved with scrolling foliage and mask, the outer case similarly pierced and engraved, repousse with panels of birds enclosing bouquet c. 1725 -- 47.5mm diam.
