A GREEK BRONZE VOTIVE GROUP OF HORSES AND BIRDS
GEOMETRIC PERIOD, SECOND HALF OF 8TH CENTURY B.C.
Comprising a group of six fragmentary animals including a horse with concentric circle decoration and another similar, 2 1/8 in. (5.4 cm.) high max; a group of ten stylized birds including one atop a finial, another on a biconical finial, and another on an openwork cage, 3¼ in. (8.2 cm.) high max.; and a bronze kouros with long hair falling down his back, arms and lower legs missing, 6th Century B.C., 3 5/8 in. (9.2 cm.) high (17)
