A HELLENISTIC BLACK-GLAZED MINIATURE HYDRIA

The fluted body with twin side loop handles and vertical handle at the back, 5¼ in. (13.3 cm.) high; a black-glazed footed bowl, the tondo stamped with four palmettes surrounded by rouletting, with silvery 'metallic' sheen, circa late 4th Century B.C., 6 7/8 in. (17.5 cm.) diam.; and a Greek Geometric skyphos with twin loop handles, each side with shoulder frieze of black triple zigzag lines flanked by triple lined crosses, the lower body and interior black-glazed, rim chipped, repaired, circa 8th Century B.C., 3 in. (7.6 cm.) high (3)
