A Japanese bronze model of an elephant
with beast standing with hind legs outstretched, its tail curled around its haunches and head turned to the right with trunk lowered, with ivory tusks -- 7in. (18.4cm.) long, signed, 19th Century, (tip of one tusk chipped, some minor wear).
