A Japanese ivory box and cover
of cylindrical shape, carved in low relief throughout with tigers heads -- 2¼in. (5.8cm.) high; and two nut carvings, the first carved as a boat containing figures, the other of a bearded immortal holding a staff -- 15/8in. (4.1cm.) max. high, 19th Century, (old wear).
