A Japanese ivory okimono of oni
carved with staff in one hand, and holding a large sack full of oni over his shoulder in the other, and one further figure crawling at his feet -- 2½in. (6.3cm.) wide, signature on mother-of-pearl tablet to base, 19th Century, (age cracks, old wear).
