A Japanese lacquerbound photographic album,
the cover with an inset sepia and gilt lacquered photographic roundel od a river landscape, on red and brown lacquer grounds decorated with floral clusters, the interior containing fifty leaves with sepia and coloured photographs, including Shogun's Phoenix room inside (Shinto) temple Nikko, The Lake Chuzenji Nikko, and other titled views -- mostly 10 x 7¾in. (25.4 x 19.7cm.), 19th/20th Century, (minor wear).
