A Japanese stag-antler netsuke of a senninth Century
carved wearing long flowing robes and hat, carrying a small sack over his shoulder -- 2 5/8in. (6.7cm.) high; and another ivory netsuke, carved with two figures in a boat amongst foaming waves, a small tortoise hanging on to the side of the boat -- 1¾in. (4.4cm.) wide, (old wear).
