marked Fabergé and with the workmaster's mark of Michael Perchin, St. Petersburg, 1896-1908, with scratched inventory number 7786
Of compressed cylindrical upright form, enamelled in translucent white over a moiré guilloché ground, the ends mounted with two-color gold chased and engraved palmette bands, the hinged spring cover with a further two-color gold chased and engraved palmette band, with gold-mounted cabochon amethyst pushpiece, marked inside, in a fitted case stamped, 'A La Vieille Russie, New York'
