Moulded with a butterfly in flight and a bird perched on a morning-glory vine between flower moulded bands, 10¼in. (26cm.) high; together with an English cobalt-blue ground plate, circa 1880, painted 44 to the yellow reverse, moulded with a ribbon-tied bouquet of roses, a leaf and fern within a beaded fret-work border, 95/8in. (24.4cm.) diam. (2)
