A Jumeau for 'R.R.' bébé
with blue fixed eyes, closed mouth, pierced ears, brown mohair wig with plaster pate and jointed late S.F.B.J. type wood and papier-mâché body wearing contemporary green silk frock, underwear, white boots and lace bonnet --23½in. (59.5cm.) high, impressed R.10.R and red painter's marks (right lower eye lid restored, back left side of head rim slightly warped and some wear to body)

The R.R. initials indicate this was a special commission for a department store. There was a series of these using the standard Tête mould.
