A Kashan cobalt-blue and lustre conical bowl, Central Iran, 13th Century
of gently rounded conical form, the interior with eight alternating cobalt-blue and white segments each decorated with simple lustre motifs, the cobalt-blue exterior with a simple band of bold naskh inscription, repaired breaks - 7in. (17.8cm.) diam.
