    Nanbokucho period (late 14th century), inscribed Seikai fukuto nari (Second sword of Seikai)
    Sugata [configuration]: honzukuri, iori-mune, extended kissaki and slight koshizori
    Kitae [forging pattern]: itame mixed with mokume of jinie with chikei and tobiyaki
    Hamon [tempering pattern]: hako gunome
    Boshi [tip]: midare komi
    Horimono [carving]: bohi ni soehi on both sides
    Nakago [tang]: o-suriage, two holes
    Habaki [collar]: wood
    In shirasaya [plain wood storage scabbard]
    Nagasa [length from tip to beginning of tang]: 67.6cm.
    Motohaba [width at start of tempered edge]: 3.5cm.
    Sakihaba [width at tip]: 2.2cm.
    With a Tokubetsu Hozon (Sword Especially Worthy of Preserving) certificate issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai (Society for the Preservation of the Japanese Art Sword), dated 2003.12.25.
