painted with a continual frieze of insects hovering above birds amongst flowering plants issuing from rockwork, all within borders of scrolling foilage and stiff leaves, the neck painted with a collar of birds in fruiting trees -- 6¾in. (17cm.) high, (chips to extremities and glaze cracks).
