of rectangular form, the lid applied with floral bosses at the corners, the centre with a laurel garland tied with a ribbon, the borders engraved with egg and dart decoration, raised on openwork cartouche and foliate feet, the mounts signed Tiffany & Co. Makers, New York in several places, the hardstone box later replaced.
