    A large Caucasian Kindjal
    19th Century
    With tapering double-edged blade with single fuller off-set on each side, one side with engraved presentation inscription in Georgian and the date 3 November 1924, the hilt (minor damage) and scabbard entirely covered in silver finely chased and nielloed with scrolling designs of flowers and foliage, heightened with beadwork, and with ribbed ball finial, the chased designs gilt against a matted ground, the left side of the scabbard fitted for a by-knife (missing)
