A LARGE CELADON GLAZED DISH, MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
incised to the central well with a large flowering lotus with scrolling foliage to the sides, the flattened rim with key-fret motifs, covered to the body with a thick pale olive glaze -- 18 1/8in. (46cm.) diam.
Possibly a gift from the Kings of Oudh, circa 1928
