A large Chinese cloisonne and gilt bronze tripod censer and domed cover
with seated Buddhistic lion finial, pierced angular handles and lion head and paw feet, decorated with stylised lotus flowers and entwined foliage and dragons chasing flaming pearls among clouds within borders of lappets, ruyi heads and foliate motifs on a turquoise ground -- 40in. (101.6cm.) high, Qianlong six-character mark, 19th Century, (pitting and minor wear).
