With steep sides and wide everted rim slightly incurving at the edge, finely enamelled with a delicate poppy spray with two large blooms and three buds at the centre, the sides with four stork roundels alternating with lotus flowers amongst dense foliage reserved on a vivid yellow ground, and the border with four floral cartouches and flower heads reserved on a deep green and pink trellis ground, the exterior with four iron-red floral sprays
