A LARGE FAMILLE VERTE DISH
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The dish is decorated to the interior with female warriors in a battle scene from the Chinese legend "Generals of the Yang Family". The rim is decorated with six landscape cartouches in reserve on a diaper ground. The base is painted with a leaf within a double circle.
