A large Japanese bronze trumpet vase
with widely flaring neck and short foot, decorated in relief around the body with a coiled dragon amongst cloud scrolls, all within lappet and ruyi head borders on a ground of stylised archaic motifs -- 17in. (44.7cm.) high, six-character mark to base, 19th Century, (minor wear).
