A large Japanese cloisonne spherical tripod koro and cover
supported on three gilt feet, decorated in various coloured enamels and tea-goldstone within silver wire with a band of large lappets containing ho-o and various other birds, below a another band of shaped cartouches containing dragons, a further band of scattered stylised roundels to the top rim, cover and finial -- 13½in. (34.3cm.) high, (one foot dented, two very minor bruises).
