The bowl is potted with a flaring conical body that rises to the incurved rim, and is covered inside and out with a purplish-blue glaze that drains to mushroom at the rim, and ends in a irregular line above the spreading foot to expose the grey body.
8 1/8 in. (20.8 cm.) diam.

The result of Oxford Authentication thermoluminescence test no. P115a52 is consistent with the dating of this lot.
