Painted on the exterior in even washes of cobalt blue with a pair of sinuous phoenix in mutual pursuit amidst stylised scrolling clouds between two parallel lines at the base and below the rim, the interior with a small central roundel enclosing two similar birds, rim chip restored, small rim chips and cracks
