A large Ming bronze model of a seated Bodhisattva
in dhyanasana, with serene expression and the hands in front, wearing a pierced elaborate crown and jewellery, the robes decorated with bands of floral motifs to the edges, on a lotus-petal base issuing from breaking waves set on a galleried hexagonal stand before flowersprays -- 21¾.in (54.2cm) high, 16th Century, (minor damage and old wear).
