The large raised central roundel depicting a synagogue, the central arch with a praying rabbi, a panel of scrolling gold kufic below, surrounded by further raised roundels each containing a similar depiction divided by panels of scrolling arabesques, a band of inlaid lozenge panels around the raised rim, the underside with a suspension loop
