A large pair of Canton enamel baluster vases
with slender flaring necks, everted foliate rims and gilt bronze Buddhistic lion handles, decorated in bright colours with rectangular panels of seated dignitaries, ladies, boys and attendants in pavilions and on terraces in formal garden landscapes, within borders of flowers and scrolling foliage on blue grounds between bands of lotus petals and ruyi heads -- 36in. ((91.4cm.) high, (cracks, losses, wear and areas of restoration).
