A large pair of modern Cantonese baluster vases
with everted foliate rims, moulded Buddhistic lion handles and guei dragons to the shoulders, painted and gilt with panels of warriors and dignitaries on grounds of scattered fruit and flower sprays -- 36¼in. (92cms) high, late 20th century.
