A LARGE YELLOW AND DARK 'GREEN' GLASS 'EYE' BEAD
CIRCA 5TH-3RD CENTURY B.C.
The barrel-shaped fused swirling yellow and dark 'green' glass bead with blue and white glass protuberances, 2 in. (5 cm.) high; another similarly patterned bead, 'black' ground with turquoise and white 'eyes'; another, blue ground with yellow, blue and white 'eyes'; a large bead, cobalt blue ground with marvered yellow and turquoise rings; and a 'millefiori' glass bead, some with minor chips, all circa 5th-1st Century B.C., 1½ in. (3.8 cm.) long max. (5)
