A late 19th century builder's half model of the sail/steam ship S.S. Atrato
the hull built up in lifts, the bottom finished bright and the topsides painted black, with a built paddle wheel box decorated with a sun burst pattern, head rails and bow sprit (both later), trailboard painted gold, the decks painted black and fitted with three stump masts (later replacements) and a pair of funnels, and other details. Mounted on a mahogany backboard with molding edge.
