A late 19th century diamond and gem spider brooch
the body composed of a cushion-shaped old-brilliant-cut cut diamond and later South Sea oval cultured pearl, approximate diameter - 5.7mm, with ruby eyes, the legs set with a line of old-brilliant-cut diamonds, circa 1890, detachable brooch fitting.
