Composed of old-cut diamond graduated open oval links, each with later added oval turquoise collet, mounted in silver and gold, circa 1895, 35.5 cm, maroon fitted case stamped J.W. BENSON 25 OLD BOND ST. LONDON
Provenance
Given to Lilias, Countess Bathurst (871-1965) by her husband Seymour Bathurst, 7th Earl Bathurst (1864-1963) on the birth of their first son Allen Algernon Bathurst, Lord Apsley, in 1895.
