A late Ming-style blue and white tripod censer and cover
With lion mask paw feet and S-scroll strap handles, the cover with a seated lion finial, painted in a deep blue with a figure riding a horse on one side, and fishermen on a river on the other -- 8 in. (20 cm.) high.
Purchased in 1956 in Taichung.
