The front with brass stop-fluted pilasters and the sides and rear with diamond-pierced brass sound frets, silvered convex dial with Roman chapters and steel moon hands, slow/fast regulation at XII, the eight day twin chain fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on gong, pendulum holdfast to back plate -- 20¼ in. (51 cm.) high
