A LONDON DELFT DATED ARMORIAL BLUE AND WHITE PLATE
Painted with three figures, one seated before a sphere flanked by two others holding astronomical instruments within an oval foliage cartouche cornered by scrolling foliage and with the arms of the City of London and another with a mask below, all flanked by the initials MHI the date 1695 below, the scale-pattern border reserved with five panels of fruit and flowerheads, very slight rim flaking
