Provenance
William Cunard and by descent to the present owner. William Cunard purchased Orleans House with contents in 1882.
Louis Philippe, Duc d'Orleans, later 'King of the French' in 1830, occupied Orleans House, Twickenham, in exile 1800-07 and later 1815-17. His son Duc d'Aumale re-occupied it in 1852.
