Slightly tapering étui-à-cire of flattened oval section, both sides of cover and base enamelled in translucent royal blue scattered with gold paillon on a finely reeded ground, within white enamel fillets, the sablé gold borders stamped with foliage, roses, scrolls and berries, bright-cut raised rims, blank matrix, the cover topped by a swirling gold rosette on a matted ground
