circular box, the independent cover and base engine-turned with concentric reeding stamped with scattered pellets, the sides similarly stamped on horizontally reeded engine-turning, the cover centred by a circular reserve applied with a foliate rosette in two colours of gold on a frosted ground within a rope-twist and pellet band, further similarly decorated borders on cover and base
