A LOWESTOFT BLUE AND WHITE BALUSTER CREAM-JUG AND A SAUCER
CIRCA 1765, THE JUG WITH INDISTINCT MARK
The jug with scroll handle, painted with a pagoda and tree on fenced rockwork, the reverse with a river island (crack to lip, slight stain near base); the saucer with huts on wooded river islands within a diaper and flowerhead border (hairline crack to rim at seven o'clock)
The jug 3 in. (7.7 cm.) high; the saucer 4¾ in. (12.1 cm.) diam. (2)
