Each piece chased with foliage, comprising: a teapot; a hot-water jug; a cream-jug; a sugar bowl and cover; a waste-bowl; a pair of sugar tongs and a shaped circular salver, the salver engraved with an inscription
the salver 12½ in. (32 cm.) diam.
The inscription reads ' TO HER ROYAL HIGHNESS PRINCESS MARINA DUCHESS OF KENT FROM HIS MAJESTY TUANKU SYED PUTRA IBNI ALMARHUM SYED HASSAN JAMALULLAIL 10TH OCTOBER 1964'. (7)

Tuanku Syed Putra Ibni Almarhum Syed Hassan Jamalullail (1920-2000) was King or Agong of Malaysia from 1960 until 1965. He was Raja of Perlis from 1945-2000.
