A marble figure of a recumbent tiger, Tang dynasty
Looking directly forwards with its tail raised over its hind quarter, carved all over the body with stripes and fur markings, lying on a rectangular base carved around with archaistic scrolls -- 6¾ in. (17 cm.) long.
