A marine-ivory netsuke of of Chodoryo sennin
carved standing, carrying a shishi on his back grasping a ball in its mouth, the sennin wearing long leafy robes -- 3 1/8in. (8cm.) high; an ivory netsuke of a shishi seated attempting to push a large ball, inlaid metal eyes, incised Masahiro signature to base -- 1 7/8in. (4.7cm.) wide; and another ivory netsuke of a shishi seated on rockwork looking down at its young, signed on the base Sako with a kao -- 1 5/8in. (4.1cm.) high, (restoration to one foot on sennin).
