A matched pair of blue and white square sectioned vases, 19th Century
of tapering form with twin fixed ring beast-head handles, painted with panels of scholars in river and mountainous landscapes and fat quails under bamboo branches surrounded by panels of scrolling foliage, ruyi-heads and demi-leaves; and a miniature garden seat, a coin formed aperture to the seat, the panels decorated with scrolling lotus flowers -- 9in.
