A Meissen Hausmalerei slop-bowl
Circa 1740, the decoration circa 1750, blue crossed swords mark, Pressnummer 3 and indistinct painter's blue mark
The exterior painted with flowering shrubs in underglaze blue, enriched with gilding and divided by flowers in overglaze enamels by F.J. Ferner, each side of the interior with a courting shepherd and shepherdess divided by trees, flowers and sheep around a central circular scene with buildings on hillsides, within a gilt scrolling foliage border (slight wear to gilding, minute flaking to enamels, very slight chipping to footrim)
