A Meissen turquoise-ground rectangular teacaddy and cover
Circa 1735, gilder's D. to both pieces
Each side painted with harbour scenes, with merchants at discussion among barrels on quaysides, one with a castle with an arch, within double gilt line quatrefoil cartouches, the shoulder with iron-red and purple husks, the circular flat cover with a similar harbour scene panel within a quatrtefoil double gilt line cartouche
